In the beginner acoustic course, you’ll learn how to play 9 complete tunes using video lessons, TAB, and loops to practice along with.
As well as the step-by-step lessons, there are a further 42 more beginner tunes with TAB to learn.
As the beginner electric course is being planned, I’m putting up the tunes I’m considering to get your feedback.
You can check them out now as mini-lessons with TAB, similar to the bonus content from each course.
In the intermediate acoustic course we unlock the guitar fretboard as we use the CAGED system to explore each tune.
When you completed the step-by-step lessons, there are a further 96 tunes to check out using TAB.
Complete the intermediate electric course and you will map out the fretboard, as well as gain an understanding of how to create a guitar part that works in a band.
In the step-by-step course, you’ll play with a band I recorded live in the studio. Once the course is completed, there are a further 81 similar tunes to check using TAB.
In the advanced acoustic course, we find huge chord extensions and unique chords using open strings. A few solos and 2nd guitar parts are incorporated as well.
Upon completing the step-by-step lessons, there are a further 40 tunes to look into, all which come with TAB.
The advanced electric course has been in the planning stages for many years, aiming to be a natural step up from the intermediate course.
As I consider which tunes should be added, they are made available here as mini-lessons with TAB, which, if you’re learning one of these for a gig, may be enough!.
There are four important arpeggios to learn on the guitar, the min7, the maj7, the dom7, and the seemingly super awkward min7b5.
In the arpeggios course, we master all these arpeggios in all CAGED shapes using extremely efficient exercises.
These lessons don’t have any exercises, instead, we investigate how to best describe chords when they are put after each other and form progressions.
The chord progression course use a combination of the major scale (Roman Numerals and Blues language), to describe popular music.
The incredible CAGED system is the best way to organise the guitar fretboard. It can explain all chords, and expands perfectly into arpeggios and modes.
Simply follow the eight steps in the chords course , it will be the best thing you’ve ever done for your understanding of the guitar.
The chromatic and sweeping exercises will sort out any problems you have with synchronizing your left and right hand as you play with a pick.
Take the chromatic + sweeping course and you'll will improve your accuracy, build speed, as well as train you in reading rhythms better.
Using the CAGED system as our foundation, we can build five Major Pentatonic shapes and then develop these into major modes.
The self-eliminating practice routine takes care of this in an 8 step major scales course. All you have to do is put the time in.
Just like in major, using the CAGED system as our foundation, we can build five Minor Pentatonic shapes and then develop these into minor modes.
In an 8 step minor scales course, you’ll master not just the modes, but all minor scales. There is TAB for everything, although once you get the concept, you won’t need it!
