My Baby Just Cares For Me | TAB
In this epic tune, there’s a lot of TAB to get through, let’s start with the main part, the intro, and 1st half of the verse and bridge, the signature part.

Start with looking at the first line, imagine the chords being this:
| A A/G# F#m7 F#m7/E | D D/C# Bm7 E11 |
Make sure you can see why, then realise that it’s easier to just see it as two chords with a falling bass line and it sounds better on the guitar if you play fewer strings. Hence idea 2 above.
Sticking with the theme, for the instrumental section, we play an E7 at the end, like this.

Spend plenty of time getting the right feel for playing this main “riff”.
Halfway through the verse, the chords change, to this:

This is II – IIIx – VI – IIx – V. The bass line is the most important. Start with playing as the TAB says before you find new variations.
Here’s the second half of the bridge, or perhaps it should be called the B section?

I’ve kept the rhythm the same for consistency. Start playing as it says, then explore other ideas.
The chords are II – IV – VIIx on the first line, then I – I7/b7 – VIx – II – V.
Here’s the solo!

I don’t know about you but I think that solo is a true masterpiece. Play it just as it says!
When I eventually turn this tune into 8 step-by-step lessons, I’ll show you the 2nd solo and end as well, until then, get to work!
