Let’s take a look at all sections of this tune using TAB as if you were to play it on your own, here’s the intro bass line. It does sound slightly odd since it’s played so high up.
Make sure you “rake” the first chord and let those strings ring. The reason we can’t play these notes lower is that D on beat 4 can’t be played an octave down.
Next, here’s the verse. Practice this slowly at first, once you get it, the rest of this song will be easy. The rhythm is inspired by the sound a Güiro makes.
